Some sad news from the academy
« on: April 24, 2006, 12:58:49 pm »
we had a cadet fall 200 ft yesterday off of a mountain.  He slipped on the trail while hiking and plunged  of the backside of eagles peak.  He is currently in a coma and is listed critical condition.  His name is Tom Avolio and he is a good friend of mine.  If you could keep him in your thoughts and prayers i'm sure it would be greatly appreciated by him and his family.  I know i would appreciate it if you did.

Thanks
Rob

I'll pass this onto my Detachment. Keep your head up man, he'll pull through.

I asked my wife to put him on our church's prayer chain.

I care Tus, I'm not religious so much, but I was clinically dead at one time, and I do know there are angels above.

I'll bow down and pray for your friend.
