would check them out but since I have been back I have been losing that server and this one so often that many times I have to restart them in order to finish reading anything. Is it just me or is this here server dropping a lot and especially the SFC2.net one?

No it is not just you. It seems Comcast is unable to maintain an acceptable signal quality on their lines. It seems they cannot keep people from tapping their lines (badly) and introducing noise. This has been my theory on our troubles since we started using them. All this so some cheap bastard can get HBO (or whatever) for free. We had good signal on Saturday while comcast staff were patrolling the lines where they have been consistently been having people steal cable but it seems as soon as the trucks left the thiefs were right back at it. I'm not postitve this is the problem, but everything points to it and Comcast has admitted they have had a recurring problem with this in the area. It also could be other comcast customers uncapping their modems. We have abysmal upload numbers (~20K when we're paying for 1M) and hideous signal to noise.

This barely describes my frustration about this, poor Frey has been busting his ass trying to resolve it with Comcast when we have known what the issue has been all along. From observing the patterns I can almost tell you when this thief gets up in the morning, when he gets home from work, when he gets up to take a crap and when he goes to bed at night. Its getting ridiculous.

Oh ya, sorry, but forgot to mention one thing. On the SFC2 forums, it has a spot to click for continuous logon, yet when I use it it still requires me to log on every time. It has been that way for me since the site was last moved a few months ago. Is anyone else having this issue or again is it just something I messed up? It used to work fine on the other site.

The last few updates of phpbb have affected how its cookies work. (also the non-www domains were not present in the previous dns setup) Both of these factors explain this difficulty that you and others have been experiencing. Try clearing your cookies, cache and password manager and update your bookmarks to use the www... domains. I am tempted to disable the "Log me on automatically each visit" option for this reason. Myself I never use it anywhere because I have admin accounts and if someone were to steal my computer...

Has the Forge restarted again? I managed to get on for a few minutes a couple of days ago and the map looked like it had been reset back to the beginning.
