Private forums for The Forge on SFC2.NET
« on: April 23, 2006, 07:45:23 am »
I know that The Forge is a "casual play" campaign, but I took the liberty to put a Alliance and Coalition forum up at SFC2.NET in case someone wants to share a little strategy with other players.

I again took the liberty of giving the moderator jobs to LordKrueg (Coalition), and Deadmansix(Alliance).  Both Nutters from the previous running of the campaign!   ;)     If you guys don't want the job, let me know, and I'll find someone else, or do it myself.

If you want to join one of the forums, go to SFC2.net forums and click usergroups.  Choose either forgea for Alliance or forgec for Coalition, and someone will let you in shortly.

Thanks !!

Wow, thank you, sir. I had thought of asking for something like that on the last run, but, decided not to ask since it was, as you say, as "casual" campaign".
Now, if players actually read them...or even request access... :P

Well, went to add a player to the Coalition forums and got this message:

Could not connect to smtp host : 11 :

DEBUG MODE

Line : 112
File : smtp.php

EDIT
Well, it added the players, but it continues to give me that message with everyone I add....

I think that might be a error notice because since the move of D.NET hosting servers, e-mail service has not been restored to SFC2.NET.   I believe smtp id e-mail.

Additions to your forum will work, it just can't e-mail the user that they've been added.  Is that right Bonk?   ;)

Correct... we will not be able to restore e-mail services until later this week when the commercial account is installed. (at which point the will be a brief hiatus in all services). Thanks for your patience.
