I've done this one about a dozen times already, but, what the heck? The mesh is built from my as yet unreleased TMP model though I've made more changes this time than simply slapping new engines on 'er:

I think it fits in nicely as an X2 design, maybe? There are a lot of years between TMP and TNG.

That secondary hull sure reminds me of another ship.....

might I suggest a small phaserbank above the suttle bay, and a couple more on the sides of the drive hull?

There's already a phaser array over the shuttle bay with an additonal one on the underside of the hull.

Whoa bigtime improvement on my fav WZ ship. The warp engines esp I like but the retex work significantly improves the entire model. Awesome!

The engines!  The engines do it!  It'd be nice to see a Fed ship on TV or movies with engines like that!
