Class F, Type 3 and 3A shuttles
« on: September 02, 2006, 10:29:09 am »
Hey guys, I thought I'd show you my TMP shuttles, the Galileo 5 (TFF) and the Shuttle Hawking (GEN), and the Type 1 I'm working on.

The Galileo 5 (Type 3 Shuttlecraft) from Star Trek V: The Final Frontier

The Shuttle Hawking as seen in Star Trek: Generations (this beauty shot was originally intended for scifi-meshes.com once scorching got added to the hull, however I've decided not to post it there)

The Type 1 Shuttlecraft as seen in TOS. For the SFC versions, I plan to add the aft landing gear, extended. In the BC version, there will be an MVAM (Multi-Vector Assault Mode) version, that will allow the landing gear to extend. That way, in BC, you can extend the gear before landing, and retract them after lift off.

Anyway, let me know what you guys think. Please include only constructive criticisms. Saying a mesh "sucks" or "doesn't look right" doesn't help me make it better. Such un-constructive comments will go ignored.

Here's an update on the Class F (formerly Type 1) Shuttle. The first 4 images show the Class F shuttle from different angles.

The Shuttle Columbus from "The Galileo Seven"

The Shuttle Copernicus from TOS as well. According to information I have found, this shuttle was used also in "The Galileo Seven" to search for the Shuttle Galileo.

The Shuttle Galileo from "The Galileo Seven"

The Shuttle Galileo II from "The Way To Eden"

The Shuttle from "The Menagerie, Pt. 1" which carried Kirk and Mendez to the Enterprise. This was when we learned that the shuttle type was "Class F" and that it was capable of warp 2.5.

The Class F shuttle as seen in the Director's Edition of "Star Trek: The Motion Picture".

The Shuttle McAuliffe, assigned to USS Farragut NCC-1647. This shuttle was first seen in Ships Of The Line July 2006 Calendar, and was also seen in Star Trek: New Voyages' episode "In Harm's Way".

This shuttle was seen in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's TOS episode "Trials and Tribble-ations". Even though it was unnamed, and only seen briefly in the shuttlebay, for the sake of the BC modification "TOS Canon Mod Pack", it has been given the name "Pan" by that mod's author.

This is what the shuttles will look in BC. Not sure how they will appear in SFC. This shuttle will replace the Type 1 that's already posted on Battleclinic. *thinks Dynaverse could use a BC section if it doesn't have one already*.

Anyway, let me know what you guys think!
