It's kind of weird seeing it called a "sci-fi channel original series".  Seems like there should be a different name for remakes (even if it's a "reimagining") shouldn't it?  At least just call it a sci-fi channl series.  I mean if I a network remade Remington Steele, could they call it a CBS (or whatver network) original? I guess they could, but it just seems odd.

Well... wouldn't a Sci-Fi Channel Original Remake be like "Genuine Naugahide"?

Genuine Imitation Leather.  That's the one. ;)  Actually, I just saw the Dune miniseries and didn't think it was too bad, but I never got around to reading the book yet either (yeah, I know).
