Microsoft opposes ODF at every turn and even creates a (proposed) competing standard but they don't have an ulterior motive when joining the ISO committee reviewing ODF?

The Open Source world is watching them.  They will be known by their actions.   Let us hope that the pessimists are pleasantly surprised by Microsofts behaviour.

I checked petty cash, I'm a little short of buying Microsoft.  How about you take it over with your evil empire?

The Open Source world is watching them.

IBM has joined the same committee.  I suspect that they have Microsoft under an electron microscope looking for violations of the committee rules.

Who better to monitor the new "Evil Empire" but the OLD Evil Empire now turned from the dark side?

I already have an evil software division called Scumsoft.
