USS Luna and USS Fury Prototypes (Kitbash - Now released)
« on: March 26, 2006, 11:08:38 am »
Sorry I haven't bashed anything for so long.

Here’s my version of the USS Luna which created the class from which the Titan is derived. I can’t release her yet because she’s a bash and I need to get permission from Queball (Original mesh) and Atolm (original Premonition design).

Queball and Atolm, what do you say, can I release her to the rest of the community? Please post here.

Feedback is always Welcome! Trek on.

Thanks for the kind words.

SF - thanks, I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings so I included Atolm since Queball gave him credit for the upgraded design at Battleclinic.

As soon as I get permissions I'll release her. Speaking of releases - while I'm getting permissions Q and A how about letting me release this one as well - It's just the premonition minus the time warp nacelle. I thought she'd make a fast scoutship or special ops fast response vessel.

Actually, Q's Prem was closely based on Atolm's version, along with a hi-res Premonition as stated on the Battleclinic download page.

As for getting Atolm's permission, you'd have better luck flagging him down on the DRS forums.

AHh, I forgot about that one, the one I got is much more on the "sharp angles" rather than the rounded, plump ship was saw in A1.

Cheers for the link SF ;)

Sure thing mate - you can release both versions as long as proper credits are given. I think Atolm will be fine as the mesh and textures are all my work.

;D THANKS QUEBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your talents and generosity are amazing. ;D

CORRECTION - I got my "A's" mixed up the modified premonition design is attributed to Azel not Atolm - somewhere I think I read they were the same persona. Anyone?

Here are the files courtesy of Battleclinic.

U.S.S. Fury
Quick Response Special Operations/Fast Scoutship
Owner : United Federation of Planets
Class : Capital Ship
Availability :  Limited Deployment
-------------
Built for long range fast scout duty or for quick response special operations the Fury Class also has full multimission capability. It features new warp technology that masks it warp signature from traditional sensor scans and is capable of sustained speeds of Warp 9.9 without major overhaul. Only one Fury Class has been produced pending a shakedown cruise. Rumors abound that a secret intelligence organization within Starfleet command is stalling production for some unknown reason. The Fury has a full compliment of shuttle and axillary craft at the Captain's disposal.

Any situation or phenomenon will find itself at the mercy of the Fury in record time.

U.S.S. Luna
Multifunction Long Range Exploration
Owner : United Federation of Planets
Class : Capital Ship
Availability :  Limited Deployment
-------------
Built for long range exploration the Luna Class also has full multimission capability. It features new warp technology that masks it warp signature from traditional sensor scans, it sacrifices sustained high warp speeds for enhanced sensorcapabilities via dorsal sensor pod and a series of deployable drones. It is however capable of speeds of up to Warp 9 for short bursts without major overhaul.Only one Luna class has been produced pending a shakedown cruise. Once again, rumors abound that a secret intelligence organization within Starfleet command is stalling production for some unknown reason. The Luna has a full compliment of shuttle and axillary craft at the Captain's disposal.

The Luna is sure to be able to shed light on any situation or phenomenon she encounters.
-------------
Kitbash : Shadowfleet
Model Design: Azel
Textures: Queball
Mesh: Queball

MP some awesome payback would be the LC BC2 model comversions from your Warbird thread. These two sisters are ready to rumble on their shakedown cruises and need some beauties to joust.

Starforce - a port to BC is fine with me as long as it's fine with Queball. I'm just a basher for now, the modellers are the one's that are the most important.

No worries from me Starforce. I just bashed 'em, henceforth, no one needs to ask my permission for my bashes (or original models when I gather the courage to post my horrifc creations) just consider it given. However, everyone should always consult the original modeller.

Queball has to give the OK for public release of Fury and Luna in BC. What do you say Q?
