If first impressions are the most important, I wouldn't have minded a nice hello and it would've been a good impression.  However you've gone above and beyond that.  Your Talarian model is fantastic and blows Atrahasis's Talarian model away pretty well.  My only gripe is that it's only for SFC3, and it's the only SFC game I don't have nor care to have.  But it's a minor gripe; You still have done a well-done job.

Plain,
Simple,
Easy to look at,

I like it allot, Great Job!
People always said they wanted the government to listen to them and now the government is listening, taking notes and names...and coming to see you soon!

Thanks you all for the welcome..

Glad you like the ship... more coming soon...

.... re hard point and you'll be fine... ;) i think you can use this for that ;)

Its a nice utility.. but I dont see whats wrong with the HP.. 5 Light (3 fore, 2 aft) and 4 Heavy (2 fore, 2 aft)
The reason for the HP layout is in the readme... Unless you mean somthing else.

very nice work wher did you pick up those skills they are killer

Started a while ago... did tutorials a plenty, for photoshop and modelling in max.. and thats how I learnt. Lighting in the renders is
Just a simple omni light... no global illumination or anything fancy.. so the ship should look like this in game...

Id love to see her ingame if anyone can post a screenie. Thanks

Thanks.. I would release for other versions of SFC... just dont know how... I only have the SFCIII modelling manual, I have no gripes with someone else converting.
I love Atrahasis work... And I try to study everyones work... Like I said been knocking around a while just reading as a guest, In most forums, so I went to Atrahasis Ark, and took a look at his models... They are awsome considering his models were released with 256 x 256 bmp's and mine is a 1024 x 1024 bmp...
But the compliment is appreciated.

What max tutorials did you use? So far I've only had success with the one that make a saucer (or a cyclinder based space station) out of the spline tutorial and the phaser strip one. Beyond a disk with phaserbanks I dunno where to go next.

You need to register, tons of free max tutorials... a really nice borg cube with the greeble plugin too. ALL ARE VIDEO

http://www.good-tutorials.com/

Good for photoshop stuff

Apart from that I did most of the tutorials that you get with Max... Learning different stuff that always comes in handy.

Yes it is, on one helluva card. Not bad for something that barely breaks 1000 poly.

Thanks... If I knew you liked my models this mutch I would have made higher poly versions.

Keeping under 2k is great though cos it meansthey can be used for almost every game ;)

I'd love to see what you can do with 8-12k. There's always the larger telarian, or the darmok/tamarian ship, or the sheliak (we don't have a decent merchantman).
