Texturing has begun, although it's even slower going than usual...  I'll try and convince CJ to show off at least the wings, which are pretty much final...

All right, texture WIP's:

The bottom shot is the most in-progress, as there's not yet a clear way to blend everything together.  But we're working on it.  :)

You know, it's quite original and aesthetic.  Nice, sleek job.

the shades of color look very 60's sci-fi too. This will be perfect sitting next to the Enterprise.

Ironic, since the idea was to bridge the gap between TOS and TMP...  sort of a Romulan "Phase 2," if you will...  ;)

No news to report, unless you count all the swearing that CJ has been doing at Maya as he tries to texture the nacelles...  ;)  but I imagine I can't use that sort of language on the forum...   :o  It's still being worked on, I can tell you that...   ;D

The update, unfortunately, is that it's going to be a while before this one goes any further.  CommanderJones has officially given up on Maya, and is in the process of switching to LightWave; he's working on the modelling side of things at the moment, and I imagine when he gets to learning texturing, this will be one of the testbeds, but I can't say when he'll get to it.  Sorry, all.
