Mother Nature can sure be a beotch !

Yeah we got a big storm in last nite at the ole hometown....just before the devistation was standing on porch, while the spouse and offspring were enjoying the candle lit surroundings of the Dungeon (my basement game room/slot raceway/audio enjoyment space...etc...) and there was a sprinkle of hail...about dime to a quarter sized..then I noticed a huge one...should have taken a pic on the digital camera - it consisted of several dime sized stones fused into a large mass...at least an inch and a half wide, I thought to myself this is a large amount of mass to keep up in the stratosphere and what ever pushed it up there was nearby.

Here is a couple links to images picked up up on the fly--

Comes a time when the blind man takes your hand
Says "don't you see?"
Gotta make it somehow
On the dreams you still believe
Don't give it up
You got an empty cup
Only love can fill
Only love can fill

We finaly had someone looking out for us, as Central Oklahoma has had some great rain all day long. Nice and steady, and God knows, we where desperate for it.

It'll supposedly continue on through out the weekend. Why we even lost power once today because of the weather. I love it.

Pay particular attetion to the photos in "The day after  part 2" it show the USS Alabama and it's museum.

i deleted all my pictures from Slidell , La. ( I-10 twin span bridge) that i helped put back together after i created a disk.. i managed to lose already.
it was intresting how many dead bodies we found on the bridge.

But here's some off the Net:

I wasn't working the crane barges.. i was on the  barges that moved the good sections from the  westbound side to the East bound side.
to open the east side first. Since the west bound side had the most damage.

Here at Texas A&M, we have a lot of Tulane students that were displaced by Katrina.  There are a lot of Katrina victims that now call College Station, TX home.  Our basketball arena was turned into a relief center when it hit, and the Corps of Cadets worked around the clock to help out the people coming in.  I was part of the group that was there when the first buses arrived.
Everyone in the community wanted to donate food.  We had to turn away people who wanted to donate because we had way too much.
