Kirby Puckett has died

He was 45 years old. A sad day in sports.

He will be missed.

I never met Kirby; but I can definatly say; he had an affect on me.  My love of baseball was due in no small part to him.

A class act.   The baseball community will miss him dearly.

After watching Barry Bonds aint that the truth. needs more Tilmans too!

I was stunned to learn that KP died while watching "The Sports Reporters" this morning. They touched on allegations of domestic abuse, which if true, deserve all our scorn. However, he was a breath of fresh air to baseball when it needed it and from what I saw, was one of the good guys in the sport.
