Part Soulwolf, part Windrunner, part Ulysses, and a little of a model I made when I was little.

I used to make models from scratch when I was little. I grew up with 'Trek, my parents were huge fans. But I never had many of the models. I had models of the Enterprise A/D, but they didn't last. The first model I had was the Quo'nos One, and I didn't have glue, so I put the whole thing togeather with spare medical tape (my mom was an RN). Lasted a long while, too.
The other toys I had got lost as we tended to move often (every two years or so). So for the most part I didn't have any Trek stuff. So I decided that since I was good at drawing stuff, and I loved to doodle the ships, I'd make my own. Long story short, little kid, LOTS of time. I kept doing it into high school because it was a challenge, and helped improve my hand at drawing/designing. Got pretty good at it too. I think in the end I made a Enterprise/Voyager/Defiant/Nova Class that looked pretty close to the genuine article. I also made a model of the seaQuest. But thats neither here nor there.
The Saucer and top view of the Osiris are based on my first Enterprise E model before I saw First Contact. I had only seen the back of it from the FC poster, so I had to guess at what the rest looked like. I wasn't even close, lol. It sort of looked like a sleeker Ambassador.
That movie was hilarious. The movie starts and the bulb on the projector immediately goes out. Nothing but audio. We waited in there for forever, thought those fanboys were gonna riot! We had to leave because there was something else wrong with the projector, and everyonel got rainchecks.
I also made a model of an Enterprise E/Voyager hybrid (call it a kids first kitbash), that I named the Odyssey. And drew up bridge sketches (something I still commonly do with SFC models on my computer, when I'm bored). I've been redesigning it also, hopefully someone will pick it up.
Well...I've bored you guys enough with my sob story, lol. Apologies.
