Gentlemen a Request
« on: March 01, 2006, 01:08:14 pm »
Good evening all,
As some of the 9th fleet guys know I play Joint Operations and the tournament I play in is called International Conflict. The tournament is only one of two places that are allowed to mod the game in any way. And this is why I post. To expand on a decent repository of equipment the gents over on IC are looking for any willing person to make models. If any of you guys are interested this is the link.

There are several things to consider.

What kind of level of detail are you talking about here?
Do you want something that looks exactly like the real thing no matter how many polys it takes, or should it be quickly and easily renderable?
Is it going to be used for close-up shots?
Is it the main feature or a prop for a character to hold?
Is it for a still image, a video, or a game?
Does it need to have moving parts and/or special effects (either still or animated)?

I could probably make one for use in a game or a video as long as the camera doesn't get too close to it fairly easily, but I don't really have the time to devote to it at the moment.
