My Piston Fighter (Original)
« on: February 21, 2006, 10:30:07 am »
A While ago i created my own space fighter, its has 5 engines for maximum evasion techniques and thus forth can accelerate to an extremely high speeds, inface its so manuverable that only the top notch fighter pilots with extremely good reaction times can pilot them, there are also 2 sphere ani-gravitational pods on the back to allow for easier piloting and shoothness for the pilots with a main huge power source on the back which gives the plasma cannons an unlimited annount of fire power. This is a 2man space craft as one manuvers and flys the ship whereas the other needs to control the weapons which there are alot of, in total there are 12 weapons/guns on this fighter... there are 2 main plasma cannons on the front wings at the tips of each, these are mainly used for attack main warships with powerful sheilds... there are them 2 guns on the back wings with 2 barrels, these are cannons that fire one at a time, i mean like 1 barrel shoots and retracts then the other barrel shoots but these are for accuracy shots which are pretty much killers. Then there are the standard rain gun shooters on the front and in the middle of the frong wings which shoot extremely fast and rip up fighters in a dog fight or pasuit... All in all its a damn mean fighter plane!!! wot ya think!

Awesome Fighter but i think you should start posting this in the Art and Renders forum of the boards, as this forums is meant for SFC models that we can play ingame.

kick ass fighter tho by the way

A beauty!  :o

What program was used to build it?
The Star Spangled Banner bring hither,
O're Columbia's true sons let it wave.
May the wreaths they have won never wither,
Nor it's stars cease to shine on the brave.

awsome indeed. What is the poly count of this? You may want to approach the nanofx GE team over at BCU, I'm sure they'd love a high end mesh to test their engine and it makes pretty pictures too.

Check into Turbo Squid Jad...this is an original design so you should be able to have some protection available. One thing I would do is add a copyright notice to you pics...intellectual property right? ;)

nah they are trying to  make a freeware game engine I think they aint going to jack it, besides they're  not releasing yet anyways, only the testers. They might want soemthing that high poly to see how it works. You could ask'em.

I don't know if they'd be willing to purchase meshes. Usually Raven  Night does that staff but  not sure he'd be interested in this. The NanoFX GE discussion forum is at BCU (the BC boards).
