Just sent it off to Q but, I'm kind of wondering about the date.
3680bc  Didn't we already do that?
Oh well, sent it off anyways.

I have noticed that if you aren't careful in how you save the game, you'll wind up naming it the same as an existing file. Especially if you are the type that (not admitting anything here, mind you) chooses to delete the old files from inside the "Save as" dialogue box, by pressing delete.  When you highlight the old file to delete it, it changes the save as file name to the old file name.

Yeah, We're back four turns.  So did someone screw up what was sent, or do we have to do the last four turns over again?

Well, based on where my scouts were, I know the turn was current when it went to La'ra, and we know it was bad when it got to Ferret, so it has to be Stephen or Raven.

We could just back up to La'ra again...

It might've started with me.  Raven asked if I'd sent him the right file, but I sent him another one that shoulda been the right one.

So I'd guess it's me or him.

Just confirmed the last turn I sent to Stephen on 4/27 was 3480.  Which is indeed the correct year.  La'ar sent me the wrong one first, but then sent the right one.

GE-Raven

We should be in year 3480.

Please go by date modified (in details view on Win xp) to be sure you know that the turn you are sending is the newest.

well, I went back and checked, and the 3680 was the last one modified on the 27th, However, when I went back and did the 3480, it tells me to send It off to Napolean. Ferrit should be playing Ghengis Kahn isn't he?

I think that's right, I'm Napoleon... and I'm after Ferrit.

File resent to Stephen.

Just as a note guys... it takes a lot less time for those who are sending to be 100% sure of what they are sending than for us to try and figure it out after the fact.

Tips:

Always save the incoming in it's own folder.  Then save the game in it's own folder (By moving previous turns to anotehr folder after you have sent them).  Then always send from that same directory, and move it after you are done.

I find that to be pretty much 100%

Ok, I have all my files saved (Incoming and uotgoing).
Unfortunatrely Stephen was left out of the loop since his comp was out of action.  If we need to start off from the last turn, let me know and I'll send it out.
