Fair enough!
"Dialogue from a play, Hamlet to Horatio: 'There are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy.' Dialogue from a play written long before men took to the sky. There are more things in heaven and earth, and in the sky, than perhaps can be dreamt of. And somewhere in between heaven, the sky, the earth, lies the Twilight Zone."

Kinda weird having to look at the event log every turn...just now getting used to it.  ;D

Sorry it took so long.  Last weekend was Parents' Weekend at Texas A&M, and I have been very busy.

How was the Maroon and White Game?  Things look good for A&M this fall?

It was good, but I wasn't paying nearly as much attention to it as if it was an actual game.  It almost tied 24 to 24, and no one in the band really wanted to hang around if they decided to go into overtime.  We had already done our thing and were all sun-burned.  Fortunately, the Maroon team scored a field goal with 13 seconds left on the clock, so we didn't have to worry about it.

It definitely looks like we're going to have a better team this year.  I've been among the Steve McGee supporters for pretty much the whole year and knew all along that Reggie McNeal was over-rated.  McNeal has a lot of talent and has had a few awesome games, but he has never been a consistent player.  He also kept passing to the other team this past year, and you can't have a star quarterback that does that.  I doubt he would have been nearly as big if we had lost to No.1 Oklahoma back in 2002.  Steve McGee was really impressive this past year in the Oklahoma and t.u. games.  Even though we lost both of them, I think those were two of our best games last fall.  If it wasn't for our defence's horrible performance during the first half of the OU game, we definitely would have won that one, and we were pretty much the only team that gave t.u. a run for their money.  They may have left victorious, but they didn't celebrate until they got back to Austin and recovered their nerves.

Last Saturday was my very last time to march a halftime drill as part of the Aggie Band.  It's kind of a strange feeling.  This was one of the main things that has defined my college experience, and now it's over.  I'm really going to miss it.

I can't get mail until Frey gets Heimdall back up.

Maybe if Q wants to meet me on MSN or GSA he can send me the file that way. Pretty much any time is OK.

No problem, just let me know how to get a hold of you there, and I'll send it off.

*Edit* You can get a hold of me through MSN at PhilipSnyder@msn.com

Also, there's a new CIV patch out, when are we going to switch to that?  I probably can't download it until Sunday, if I remember to bring my External Zip Drive to my mother's for Easter.

MSN: mhahnke@hotmail.com

You can also check for me on Teamspeak: teamspeak.dynaverse.net

pwd: sfcrulz

I'm usually on TS in the evenings.

If you want to set up a time in advance, it can be pretty much any time. If Mr Tricorder wants to meet us as well, I can play my turn and send it on right away.

there is a new patch out.  I suspect either all of us must patch, or none of us must patch.

Will our current game still work if we patch?

I for one can live without the patch. I suggest nobody install it until we figure out what we're doing.

I'll be online for next two to three hours, maybe four if I get the phone call I usually get on Friday Night.  I don't have Teamspeak, it would have to be MSN.  (Voice chatting programs just don't work well over a dial-up)

All the Previous patches have been compatable with previous patch versions.  There has been nothing on the CivFanatics forum to make me believe that this patch would be any different.

So, what's it going to be, to patch or not to patch?  I have it and am ready to do so.  Again nothing I've seen on CivFanatics says that the old saves are incompatible with the new version.
