Hello folks!
« on: February 13, 2006, 11:11:42 pm »
Hi all.
With three new Trek games on their way, and at least one of them using the SFC series code :o I had to drop back in and say "boy it looks like an exciting time for Trek games!" And since I know there are a lot of fellow trek dorks like me hanging out here at Dynaverse, I thought I'd better show my ugly mug again and say, "hex-flipping on Server B, anyone?"  ;D

Seriously, just poking my head in to say hi and hope to meet some of you back in whatever new form the SFC code has taken! I'm truly optimistic that this next generation of Trek games is going to get it right. :fingers and toes crossed:

Tactical assault doesnt use SFC code....but it IS being done by quicksilver...

which is a Good thing....

The door is open to another PC game if we can apply the right pressure and show them it will generate revenue...

Steve Cole has even stated that he will talk to someone if they should call....

I have proposed a duel ruleset game where the quicksilver devs will see it....and posted steve's words on the subject...

Quicksilver has 7 months of work yet on Tactical assault....

We need to show them why another SFC game would be a good Idea.....

mainly..that we would buy it...

Partly...because we could free up alot of development time by getting Fans to donate content to flesh out the game...and they could concentrate on code...

Do your part...post at this link and say you would buy it......
