U.S.S. Enforcer, WIP....

Another kitbash by me, but this time, it's not a Connie, well, not completely.  Here's my take on a TNG refit of the Miranda-Class.  Nothing fancy, she still retains her overall design, yet incorporates a few new elements here and there.  Currently, she is still way in the progress stages, much left to do.

I used Zambie Zan's Reliant mesh as the basis for my work, and have slowly incorporated some Wicked Zombie pieces, mainly from the Valiant.  Here's a current run down of what's been done:

1.)  Deleted original bridge, impulse engines/crystals, warp engines, sensor dome, and torpedo pod.
2.)  Replaced sensor dome with a Quantum Torpedo turret from the Valiant.
3.)  Replaced the warp engines with those also from the Valiant.
4.)  Replaced the impulse drive with that off of WZ's Ulysses-Class.
5.)  Replaced impulse crystal assembly using the impulse crystal from the Refit Constituion.
6.)  Replaced the torpedo pod using an Akira-Class torpedo pod from the SNS Akira.

Both Zambie Zan and Wicked Zombie gave their permission for their work to be used in this project, and I am in the process of procurring permission to use the SNS Akira torpedo pod, but there is more left to do.  I still have to select a new bridge module for the ship, delete the mega phasers from the rollbar and fill in the gap that remains, add phaser arrays where needed, and also, LC has agreed to help me with a new impulse drive system for a variant I am planning on making.  The ship will require a complete retexture and major remapping, but I'll worry about that when I get the mesh squared away.

Here she is, like it or not, the U.S.S. Enforcer, WIP...

P.S.

All the textures currently shown are just placeholders for now.

Mean weapons pod.

looks good .. but the number or torp tubes for that size of pod very excessive.
If you aim at nothing:  you WILL hit it every time !

I'm glad you brought that up Buzz.  The concept I intend to write into the story concerning the new torpedo pod is that to save time and maximize efficency, a scaled down, modified version of the Akira pod was used to replace the traditional torpedo pod, and this new pod is designed to fire the micro photon torpedo pioneered by the Achilles Class.  In the retexture, I'll more than likely ask that one tube be taken away from each section, so as to maintain the realistic aspect of the refit.  All these things I shall get to eventually, but it'll be sometime.
