Look at it this way, whats worse:

1) Placing the lid down yourself

2) Making you way to the throne after a drunken Kzinti with eyes out of focus, sprays at a smaller and more difficult target. As the leading drone race remember Kzinti suscribe to the "fire and forget" philosophy.

Then again I could adopt a different idea as presented here
