Well, needed something to fly with the Daedalus, and a carrier just looks naked without a fighter escort.

This will not be for the game, though I will release it as a .mod, as it is already over 1500 polies.

FW, the problem with high poly is that in SFCOP when these puppies are launched, some carriers deploy up to 24 of them. That'd lag a system and a PvP match would become compromised.

1000 polys would work as a PF, however. Most ships clock in nowdays between 3-5k. So launching 4 would be equal to another ship rendered onscreen. A ship is limited to at most 4-6.

Thanx AV, Tus already hit me up.

You know, the more I look at that dead-front shot, the meaner it looks...and that's without the guns and missiles.

This design is a great take on a real-world near future atmospheric/space fighter, looks plausible.

Might just have to do a high-poly model of this...talkin 100,000+ polies, every detail modeled. Of course, that will be after surgery monday...too difficult now.

But, the future holds many new and wondrous things!
