Looking over the shiplist:

The F-LAK3 has a "HET +2 Turns & Nimble" of 2.7 The stock list only has integer values in this column, no fractional values. This would be an issue. A number of other ships are afflicted. This will have to be corrected. (another shipedit bug?)

I will continue looking through the list... looks like another shiplist update coming...

The F-DEF4 and IA-Def are Size Class 9 but Type LIGHT_CRUISER. Size Class 9 is not present in the stock or OP+4 lists.
Similarly the F-DEF2 is Size Class 12 and Class Type LIGHT_CRUISER. Size Class 12 is not present in the stock or OP+4 lists.

The F-CJ and F-TCC have a HET breakdown of 10, the maximum value in this column in stock and OP+ is 6.

Heh, found an error in the OP+4 list, the L-DCL and L-DCL+ have 28.5 Regular Crew (Oh wait, maybe that 0.5 is for Hexx the Captain...   :D)


The N-TIE has 1.92 Boarding Parties Base and 3.92 Boarding Parties Max. (should be an integer)
The N-TIE+ has 2.66 Boarding Parties Base and 4.66 Boarding Parties Max. (should be an integer)
The N-F5 has 4.04 Boarding Parties Base and 6.04 Boarding Parties Max. (should be an integer)

Going for a coffee... will resume QA shortly.... gotta squash these bugs... Crunch! Squish!


EDIT: back... I think I'll fix these in the dynaverse shiplist as I go but will document them here so they can be addressed in other versions of the mod.

Oh my gosh.

Got another one for you Bonk.

Had quite a few on last night and ran some tests. A few interesting things.

Someone told me that when a Base Assault misison completed, crash to desktop.
Josh, Kinneas, Mike7050 and I all tried to launch into a mission in the same hex, Only Josh as the drafter made it in - the rest of us crashed and lost all prestige The max players to draft is 2 correct?

Also, just Josh, Kinneas and I launched, with Josh as drafter, and again only Josh made it in. However - I drafted Josh and Kinneas into a mission and we all made it in, albiet it was only a patrol misison, lol.

On yet another occasion, Josh attempted to draft Mike, and myself (all 3 Fed), and 1 Borg player into a mission. The Borg player crashed while all 3 feds made it in.
 

On the shiplist thing - those oddities can be fixed with Excel - as you know. I see a reset coming.
..Because the game does not have to, and will not, remain the same..

Yes, lets finish the shiplist QA and reset to eliminate those issues, then look at missions issues.

Drafting depends on the mission and who was in the hex first. Crashes may be caused by shiplist issues, so lets get those addressed first.

This one however is likely related to my experimental base destruction settings, I'll reset those to my usual values which are stable but are unpredictable as to whether or not bases are actually destroyed even though removedestroyedbases is set to 1... (something else to address in the serverkit source eventually...)

Chris, the L-BCH has PhG222's I assume this is in error? (or do they kill the enemy's pain before you kill them?  :D) I'm setting them to PhG2s...

Actually I'm finding PhG22 and PhG222 and PhG2222 in a bunch of places - I'm setting them all to PhG2.

hailz all....i have started from a fresh install    when i installed the first mod  UAWOP.exe  it says


UAW not totally installed     UAWOPModel.exe:contains invalid data(error 11FD)  to try running  again.


i did and got the same error   both times,there was no batch files on my desktop     what do i do from here before i try installing patch?

TT, did you download UAW-OP.exe from here? If not try downloading it from here:

It might be slower but hopefully you'll get an intact copy.

I found some ADD22's I assume they're meant to be ADD12s....

Somebody has a sticky "2" key...  :)

The B-TBR has "q" mech tractors and no PFs... I deleted the "q".

In a number of paces there are "0"'s where such values are simply balnk in the stock list, I am leaving these alone as I suspect they will be OK...

The F-YVD has "9!" Scanners... correcting to "9".

For some feilds there are extremely large values that do not appear in the stock list, I am leaving these be until they show themselves to be a problem.

There are quite a number of references to SFB-OP models!!! So SFB-OP is a prerequisite for this mod... (I reccomend installing it first, then uninstalling and electing to keep the models when presented the choice on uninstall).

Ah, OK, I was just going over the fighterlist... other than unconventional weapons used (normal for UAW) I do not see any immediately obvious errors.

you might want to check out the dominion CCX seems like im crashing out of alot more mission with it than with any other  ship. Planet assults base assults and planet defenses are the main ones it has happened in. It happened in fed space  klingon space and dominion space so im getting different ai in all my missions only thing i can see that was the same was my ship.

I think back when we did the 1st Dyna I decided to include a batch file for SFB-OP as I was using a lot of models and the file structure from your mod.

Yes they are ADD12s.

I'm more than happy to help out, I wanna get this puppy working well on the Dynaverse server... it is a fun mod! I love the sounds!  :)
