Topic: Home LAN - How?

Has anyone been able to play SFC2 on their home LAN?  If so, please let me know how to set this up.

I am  a lan Miester,.. I am guessing your unable to see a hosted game?  If not let me know the specific problem.

If that is the case make sure both machines can see each other on the network, share a folder or \\"machine name" in a explorer window.  If the machines can see each other that is a great start.

Make sure you have the 2552 patch on both machines.

Both Multiplayer.  One machine Hosts a game, the other connects to the LAN, make sure to click on lan,... the color code is poor showing what is highlighted, simillar to activating filming.  Green I think is not selected and orangish is highlighted.

One machine I have sometimes when it feels like it won't see unless I back out of the Join window and try to reconnect, then it sees the hosted game.  The Hosting machine must be waiting on the ship selection page of the game setup for others to see it.

Oh I gave instructions for SFC-OP, make sure you have the latest patches for SFC2, others may better be able to answer this question as I do not play that, although I bet is about the same instructions. 

PS Buy Orion Pirates, it is a much better exspansion of the game, less bugs, more mods, and cheap these days.  Plus multiplayer works and you only need one copy on both machines, it is like 5- 10 bucks ,...
