Topic: I have a question for you guys that would like to have the Stardocks.... (Read 1486 times)

IF you don't already know, I am going to post my Stardocks on my site so you can get them, but frst I have a question. Now these babies are huge, and since I am going to be making them available, I thought I would ask if you would like to have the option of having the base be smaller? Now for those of you who might want it smaller, do you want the ships to remain the same size they are now or do you just want the entire model to be smaller and it would give a "distant" look with everything being proprotionately smaller? Keep in mind that it won't make the file size any smaller, since I plan on adding them to the existing file. They are just too big to make a seperate zip for every alternate version I end up doing.

Feel free to make any suggestions, but keep in mind that I can't make everybody happy. However I do like to give you guys options so let me know.

One other thing, Starforce suggested I do one that has strictly older TOS ships on it. Sort of like a "Stardock Museum" for TOS and Pre-TOS ships. Since I don't have any preference on what ships to use, how about you guys give me a couple of suggestions on that?

Well, as a modeler, I can re-size them myself, but for the masses I'd say the proportionately smaller set would be best. As to the TOS/pre-TOS ships, I have a lot on my place at Outalance, be my guest.

Hey Rogue,

Thanks for your generous offer! I'll take you up on it and state that I would like to have you shrink down the size of the bases but keep the ships at their proper size. Also, that I'd like to have these Mothball Depots im my TMP era, so please put in a bunch of TOS- and pre-TOS-style ships as the mothballees.

The Stardocks (I don't know how many of those just yet, maybe one or two) will be done later. I say a wekk from friday, that'llgive me plenty of time to play around with them. The bases I have now will be up this weekend, thanks for the suggestions guys.

Oh, no no no, exadvent! All the Saladins, Hermes, Constitutions, and Federations have been TMP'ed in my STU. These ships are far too valuable to the Star Fleet, even if only as support variants like the DE!
