Due to the confusion that seems to have surrounded my rules sets, I'll be posting
clarifications and NEW RULES dealing with PVP and Challenges.
The first set of objective VP rules will also be released tonight.
The 3v2 rule will be removed - I like it, I think it's a good rule considering the server.
I think the complaints about it are,for lack of a better word, stupid.
The idea that this penalizes players because two players can get jumped by a 3 player fleet
is odd, as it's the same thing as every other server where fleets of three players
jumped smaller fleets to force them off of/away from objective hexes.
However I can empathize that I am trying a number of new ideas for this server, I don't need to try them all.
The rule will be changed (later tonight) to make it illegal for PVP house pilots to
withdraw from even numbered fights until one ship is destroyed
(ie until a 3v3 becomes a 3v2, or a 2v2 becomes a 1v1)
There will remain a VP penalty for that ship withdrawing.
This also means that the VP's for running from uneven battles will be removed.
And plase be noting- if you alone, or with some friends ask someone to meet you in hex xx,yy
it is by definition a challenge and should follow all the rules .
