Sorry JM, I can't grow indoor. My little plot of sandy NJ soil gets treated to seedlings via local hardware stores, I've even used Shop-Rite sold seedlings twice. I'm not quite sure what variety I've planted in the past, but I think they're usually some-kind of Rutgers beef-steak or big-boy. I usually don't plant these outdoor until mid May.
Had I a scrap of indoor space not yet taken by my sons toys or the wifes nick-nacks, then I'd be asking you the best way to plant indoors.
What do you mean by upside down planters?
