Talk about low-key: CG Sov finally comes to SFC

In Sovereign...

and in Enterprise formats.

The porting is all thanks to the Outlance shipyards, so I hope I'm not stepping on their toes by creating a thread about it.  Each one includes a blank texture, and as you can see, I've been busy:

Beautiful work!

The Sovereign was always one of my favourites.

Just wait until the CG Sov 2.0, which should be released in a matter of weeks.

You're welcome guys, but it was Dawg who got the permissions I just ported it. Nice work on that Yorktown Rat Boy.

at BCU modding, yes. I think it's   a sticky  or atleast on the first page or 2.  CG has been posting lately.

This puts WZ's soveriegns to shame (his are very disproportionate).

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you Dawntreader.  I'm a huge fan of WZ's ships, but never was too fond of his Sovereigns, at least the textures.  The mesh themselves are very good in my opinion, but these CG Sovereigns are well....*drools like he's on acid*

CG's is the canon Sovereign, whereas mine were never meant to be canon or totally accurate to begin with. They were my interpretations of different sub-classes, not the 'real' version everyone is familiar with. Besides the simple fact that they are over two years old, poorly textured, and quite lame.

It's ironic that your ideas of "Poorly Textured, and Quite Lame" . are still by far better than alot of the stuff out there  ;). Now if I can only convince you to do the Elkins since I now have an F-14 Tomcat mesh that will fit the bill.
