10 minutes before I finish the shiplist (for like the fourth time) I try and click the clipboard close icon (was getting in my way)
and I hit the things that got pasted there by accident..
Let me tell you, it's a lot quicker than doing it all line by line..

Is it true that u moved the labs on the D7 class to the port side? That will affect the damage control and how the hits are distributed. Afaik, they should be distributed evenly per side.

Actually I kep getting killed by the AI when I was testing the Disrupters so I just replaced
all hte labs and everything with ESG's

Let's face it, Klingons have ESG envy anyway, why not let them have a taste?

Whoah! There's boom separation in SFC? Is there saucer sep too? I can't believe I missed this... How do you do it?

It's a programmable hotkey. I think you have to borrow the line from the sfc3 ini.

No way! You gotta be pulling my leg... I just checked over the in game hotkey settings in OP, its not there. I just checked the bindings.ini file for both OP and SFC3, no sign of it... (nor in the sfc,ini for 3...). I gotta go dig out my much neglected SFC3 cd so I can start the game and look to see if it must be set in game to be recorded in the bindings.ini file...

Oh, wait I think I can set MakeItSo=1 in the sfc3 sfc.ini file to save me digging out the CD... (yup... love that new search function, pretty snappy!) Oh crap it only applies to >=v531... gotta go dig up the CD...

Nope, I don't see it in the in game hotkey config for SFC3 either.

You sure about this Dizzy? I'm pretty sure I'd remember this if it was ever mentioned as a feature of either game... I imagine there would be a boom model in the stock models if it were an option...

lemme search the forum for "boom sep" nope, no joy... the discussion on this thread:

I think Hondo told me that he seperated his boom once, something about nurse bubbles, slipping as he entered the hot tub, and some massage oil he left on the warmer too long??????

Possibly do it in the script code... There should be a comms button active anywhere from 20-100% hull. Pressing it causes the ship tp SD and then spawns the 'boom or saucer' which is represented by a seperate model and shiplist entry.

I dont think it'd be that hard really... Just getting the script to recognize when a ship is 20-100% HULL STR is the issue. I think coding a comms button to SD a ship and spawn another one in its place would be simpl enough.
