Congrats to Steeler fans
« on: January 08, 2006, 08:38:23 pm »
Just eating my humble pie right now, but I wanted to man up and congratulate the Steelers and their fans on a well deserved win.

I'll be pulling for you the rest of the playoffs, but my Bengals will be back next year to punch you in the face.

Congrats and good luck the rest of the way.

It didn't help the Bengals for Palmer to go down in the first series. Kitna did well filling in, but he ain't no Carson Palmer. They're definitely a team on the rise, and it's well deserved.

Now, if we can just do something with the Saints....

Thanks Mat,

I knew we could win when it took the Bengals 9 plays to get the ball in from a 1st & goal.

It proved we could stop them if didn't shoot ourselves in the foot. ::)

I was really surprised that Palomalu lost it like that.... actually surprised they didn't eject him.

I hope that Palmer comes back strong next year.  Nice to see some one else in the division that can hand Baltimore their lunch.

Granted, we didn't do this year at all... but then again, we had Maddox playing both times....You know... Mr. Pick for Six  :o

I'm still disappointed in any highly paid athlete having a history of spitting on people, maybe I should take a dump in his mouth and he can feel what it's like.  >:(

You might want to check your facts, JM.  That was Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor (#21) who was accused of that.  Not #43, Troy Palomalu of the Pittsburgh Steelers. ;)

So do me  a favor and take a dump in his mouth, not Troy's....  BTW, Taylor was fined $17K (the paycheck for that game)

My apologies, I was just so disgusted at it. And the Redskins won! There was no reason for that kind of behavior in front of a national audience, IMO.
