Oh now I do like that variant emmensley. Looks like a step above the galaxy class in terms of advancements.

As for the original. For god sake AV. Get it finished. I can't wait to get my mits on it.

I have the ship now, got the scale,DP and HP done  ;D. Will send it back to AV for release

Very nice.  I think the Textures really help out the design too.  Also, I like too add that I like how you got the Square Lifeboats on the design instead of those "Piano" lifepods we see on the Soverign Class.  That was the only complaint I have ever had of the Soverign Class Design, I prefer the Lifeboats we see on the Ambassador, Galaxy, and Intrepid Classes.

I have an idea where it can go.  If ya remember AV we discussed it briefly.  Look directly above and behind the main bridge.

If ya want we can fix it.  Should take about 45 min or less.  I can send ya the one sheet that gets the fix.  I'll be on MSN for a little while this evening.

Just a suggestion here, if your having problems implementing a "Secondary" deflector too the top portion of the ship, you could do what the Galaxy Class has.  If I recall, the Galaxy Class has a small, imbedded Deflector in the bottom half of the Saucer Section.  This is mostly used when the Saucer Seperates from the Battle Hull, but it can be used as a Back up if the Primary Deflector goes off line.  Just an idea.

I never saw any sketch that showed a second deflector on this ship. Does Azel have a pic ?
