Emissary-Class, USS Benjamin Lafayette Sisko by Azel
« on: December 28, 2005, 03:51:11 pm »
Azel/Atolm said to mirror this for eveyone !!!!!

This is a Bajoran Designed Starship Given to the Federation in honor of the man who was both the Emissary, and One of Starfleet's Greatest Officers....who now walks with the Prophets (or wormhole Aliens...take yer pick)
This ship tries to reflect the heritage of Bajor in combination with the effectiveness of a federation starship...
The design was one of my hardest concepts to design (as there are practically no links to possible Bajoran technology...thus forcing me to draw upon my instincts and a lot of guess work...the end result is a rather ancient-looking nostalgic vessel, that relies heavily on the ideology that the bajorans would possibly build a ship that would honor their rich culture and heritage)

Emissary-Class, USS Benjamin Lafayette Sisko NCC -81948
320 metres (small but effective)

Design, textures, and textures: Me
BTW: notice the fifth image

Atolm tossed me this the other day and i was blown away, seriously...

I think this is his best ship in the last year and a half. I LOVE what he did.

That has got to be one of the most unique designs I've ever seen. I'm not sure on the texture colours, but still. To each their own.

Do you know of any Bajoran paint guide ? The only Bajoran(canon ship) I've seen is that brown fighter, and a command ship I did that had the original colors on it due to me not having a guide to go bye  ;).

bah, you cant go by the sailship, that thing is ancient. Federation ships arent designed with the same philosophy as the schooners from the Revolution.
