J'inn, so nice to have you back.. shouldn't you be out suing someone?

kCW should have a test up in a week or so, basically after I finish screwing avec le map.
And (of course) I have to finish figuring out the super secret VC's + parting gifts.
Oh and I have to bother someone to see if they finished writing new missions.
Live date (is still) the first non-New Years weekend in January.

Hexx - thanks for the update. Might be worth posting a "same target date" update to this thread every once in a while, if you don't mind, to keep us in an appropriate state of anxious? Because, you know, you don't have anything better to do right?

See, this is why I'm bumping, because I think we don't know anything right now. We haven't heard a peep out of Hexx for a few days (no criticism intended, we all have lives) and I suspect the schedule may be migrating. No surprise, the past few weeks are always a crazy time of year and running a server is a hell of a commitment.

Just curious to know what the latest plan is!

I've sent the map & shiplist to DH, then we'll grab a few missions, slap them in and call it a server
So it'll taker a few days of test (or maybe we'll just go live...)

HUGE apologies for the lack of updates- my IP has been up and down all week- changes every few minutes
seems to be a problem with my local "node" (I think he said node-no idea wht the hell it is )
I can get to sirtes, then I go to post and I lose connection waiting for it to show up.

Anyway I should be able to post finalizedish rules & crap bu Sunday (Ill use the work system )

I do feel bad (especially with the old timers returning) about the lack of progress lately, as I know
a lot of people have been looking forward to it.
(Although not really sure why... it's not like I'm going to set up a server where I don't use

yes oh short one we are ready for that clause see we have been sighting you in and now we have you locked,painted and in our sights just waiting!!!

but really I think your doing ok just hang in there as there is a tradition of at least a weeks delay on any SFC server, its more important to get it right and make us Waite a littile than jump in and have it go up and down, and have to make a lot of changes after it has gone live.

and how stupid my stuff is, then I'll fix it, send it back, wait until a
night where's he short the $2.00 for his ho.. have him out it up.. then make
sure I've screwed anyone who's complained faction over, get the test up
have no one show up, start the server, find out everything we missed, bring it down
spend 2 days on the forums bitching at each other, another 4 days on a test, then
start the campign..

I've learned that if you want it bad, you get it bad, so take your time, and do it right.

Please keep us up to date on test server and your expected live date. Some people schedule their sick days or family events around server start times.
