I think I read somewhere that the Enterprise in TOS was originally supposed to be able to separate the saucer and it could land on a planet. Those two triangles on the bottom were supposed to be feet that extended down as landing gear and the third foot was in the neck.

I could swear that I_Mudd did this design already. Personally I don't like it at all. Sorry guys, not my cup o' tea. But I'll port it if everyone wants it.

it does look a little odd. I'm personaly excited about that starbase, as I intend to used that as a fed outpost for my TOS project. Darkdrone has a klingon base, so I just need something for them rommies and presto everyone has atleast one base to assult. Where is mudds news site btw? I've tried to PM him a couple times concering some other ships of his I ahd wanted to use but no answers.
