Just wondering how people felt about this, so Hexx could get some feedback if he wanted it or not  ;D

Didn't Hexx already say that it wasn't going to be appearing in its normal form?

Personally, in a land where the bulk of the fleet will be beating each other senseless with disruptors, I think the addition of photons might add a little bit of tobasco to the tomato soup, but that is just me (A Fed ;) )

Actually Hexx said that it's either going to be expensive or a modified form.
Probably strip the AMD out, or reduce the excessive Ph1's to Ph2's.
Or both..
or just price it at 15K or so

And again, why is the E3Y never brought up in these questions?

What's with the D7h8?

Why not change the ADD12 to ADD6 and change the Ph2 to Ph3?

Well Hexx, then lets get the skinny on this so we know whether to get the tar and feathers ready  ;)

Irregardless, there are some who might like to do without all the Klingon Photon boats, so I still think the poll is applicable.  With modifications or not I'd prefer a photon free Klingon Civil War.

At least I can vote for both options! ;)  Might want to look at that hehe

It has been

I think it could be fun to fly the E3Y or E4Y especially in a Nebula where you don't have to worry about being captured due to lack of boarding parties.  The F5Y is defective in that it has disruptors and cloak which is not an effective combination.

 :brickwall:

.... Now there's an ecellent suggestion...
why should I bother with the stock C7's when I can add punch to them
by using them with photons!

So we can put C7T's in to replace the standard C7's!

Thanks for the idea!

Why not just cover all the bases: C7TMm

Add a Mauler and some MIRVs and we have ALL the bases covered  :P

and the I torps

Edit: but that would only be for late era ships

Edit Edit: are photons found in SFB klingons out of curiousity?

The very first Klingon X-ship had photons. (oddly enough I actually had an SSD of this.. didn't have the game or any other ships though)
and I *think* in SFB lore- one ship modifed by "the masters" had them.
(Or it may have just been the original Xship)

But no,SFBwise no Klingon ship currently available has them.
