On another note.... how about 'captured' ships?

This site has some interesting captured ships.... since each house is closer to one enemy or another... make captured kzinti, fed, & hydran ships available after conversion to 'superior' () Klingon technology to the houses (ie two houses can have kzinti, 2 houses get Fed, & 2 get Hydran; assuming we are at 6 houses that is).....

Why not let only the faction being 'supported covertly' by the Feds have the D7T?

If you wanted to go down this route, you could allow a little ( just a little ) tech leak from each majot power supporting a faction in their shipyards only.  Say, an ESG instead of AMD, G Torps ( but not a KRC in disguise as you would be stuck with Ph 2), Cloak variants, and of course a C7 with Two PPD FX arcs instead of the 4 Disruptors just for ME! ;D

We should be flying real Klingon ships.   I do not feel the D7T belongs but it is no big deal either way.

Hell, nobody even flew the X-variant on SGO5  ;D

I say leave them out.

What self-respecting house would be willing to say that the Feds let them take over the Empire?  "Oh, please Mr. Fed, can I have some spandex jammies to wear as a uniform too?"

Bah!  Those houses honorless enough to use the D7T -- having been naughty in my sight -- shall snuff it.  Eat disruptor death, collaborator!!

Farfarer:

I wonder what house you're flying for.  By your logic (Fed-supported house gets C7T), the PPD-equipped C7 (C7PPD?) would belong to the house being supported and led by a surgically-altered ISC operative...

I'm sure you might be able to figure out which house that is, right??? :D

On the official side, though not in the poll, as we're stripping out or severely restricting most "specialty" ships (droners, C7s, etc.), then I'm for placing the T and Y variants under restriction too.  I just don't know if we want them restricted completely off server yet, or allow a couple of each to fly...

Look at the linne forming at the welfare station hoping for handouts of photons, captured ships, and even PPD.....I guess since its Christmas time they are expecting charity, unfortunatly the salvation army in the Klingon empire just sends you to Stovokor with a swift swing of the blade, I trust Hexx will do likewise.  :P ;D ;)

This is all bull.  I want a mirak-type ship.  One that has disrupters & drones!  But maybe with a better turning rate...like a klingon ship.

Well I have abstained for two reasons

#1...it's in the klink list...its a klink ship...end of story

#2..it hexx's server...and up to him to decide....taking a poll only divides the players...

Don't suppose you could restart this post and seperate it by those who belong to klingon fleets and those who don't.

My gut tells me most of the klingon pilots voted no and many non klingons voted to keep the d7T -- naturally I could be wrong.. but then again

Actually I voted for it specifically to allow those who don't normally play Klingons to have a few ships that are different and might give them more incentive to fly this server.
