Shoot man, I've been hauling five gallon buckets most of the day over to the Cattle Trough. It froze the pump, and then Proceeded to freeze the hose from the well house.

The Turtle story just struck me funny, as Brett and I still get a kick out of you during Certain Turtle races. :D

You should disconnect the hose during freezing weather.

I guess I should explain abit better, I disconnected Both hoses yesterday, and Then made the mistake of Reatiching them today abit to early. They unfortunatly Froze up pretty fast, Which caused a problem about 9 this morning.

Your right though, about what you expressed. Heck I spent a few days just wrapping pipes under the homes out here, But Those damn Cows, as much as I love them, they are more trouble then they are worth. :D

It was however 9 degrees this morning, and It's supposed to be around 32 Tonight. I've got the heater in the wellhouse going, And the hoses disconnected again, But I believe, I'll be hauling buckets again tomorrow. Even with the Insulation, that litle pump aint going to be safe.

my critters have a 1600 wat oil radiator type portable heater in their coop. it still only keeps the coop at about 35 degrees as of last night.
