Don't they know the P/C still rules?

But hey, if you or someone you know can't find one, you might find one here:

This is why I despise penny stock companies. That ad of selling on e-bay at those prices is a lie.

If I had known Americans were this insane, I would have stocked up. I imagine many of these are "Christmas" items. Well, Christmas is not about getting your kid a 700-1500 dollar toy that will be obsolete in a year or two. Oh well, it's their money.

Now why in heavens do I get this deja vu feeling from that article? Maybe because Micro$oft said the same words the last time when Xbox (the original) was released?  :mischief:

Fill me in Mackie, as I never kept up with Microsoft besides security updates and Windows. What happened about the original Xbox?

Thanks

Man did I mess up when selling my on E-Bay!

Little advice - if E-Bay has the item displayed prominently on their Home Page - for goodness sake pay the 10 bux for the Gallery upgrade - other wise every single person who comes to the site and clicks on the Big image on the home page will never even see your auction!

Was the differnce between me makin $170 bux and my friend makin $800 bucks the very next day!

(and I was already offered 170 bux when I walked out the store door)

Hadta scrap my hopes/dreams of gettin a 7800GT video card -  :-[

Oh well - live and learn!

Yeah - Exactly!

Never thought I could make a quick $170 and actually be pissed about it!

I'll get my revenge when the PS3 comes out!

Also - apparently - people are reporting more of theses units driping in at Best Buy/Target/Walmart, etc...

If I can get my greedy little hands on another one then maybe I'll have a Merry Christmas after all!

(need somethin to improve the framerate of BF2:SF or so I hear)

J.C. Penny is getting ripped apart from customers, they jacked up the prices of the units they had in reserve when those things sold out ASAP and they saw E-Bay stuff. If a person wants to do it, fine, that is their call. IMO, J.C. Penny already had a healthy profit margin and decided to gouge. Well, we saw the refinery companies get away with it this year, so why not American merchandise stores doing it as well?  :(

I Agree thats totally Weak!

I had an unpleasant time at all the Sears stores I went to on the 22nd when looking for items - they we're all extremely rude and obnoxious - as if I was an a-hole for trying to be a customer?

Apartment stores are going to have to do better or they will lose out to online stores b4 they know it.

Maybe I should write Sears a scathing letter and see if they send me some good discounts or somesuch...

I've always had great service from the floor people at Sears, but it's hard to find cashiers sometimes. I recently purchased a replacement charger for one of my cordless drills. They sent me a letter today. Lookie here, coupons!

5 bucks off any purchase made before Jan 31st, 2006.

5 off on home fashions

5 off apparel, wifey will love that!

10% off fine jewelry and watches

10% off paint and craftsman tools

10% off lawn and garden

10% off home appliances, wow!

0% APR financing on house remodeling!

0% APR on heating and cooling systems

5$ off a battery

30$ off on a set of Goodyear tires

10% off on a mattress, they lost out, after staying at the Radisson in El Paso and sleeping on a select comfort bed, we knew what to buy. Not cheap by any means, but 20 yr warranty! Most mattress firms only give a 10 yr warranty. Best thing of all? Made in the USA baby!

Free day rental on Sears if I rent a car from Avis for the weekend, whoo! I like that.

More coupons for repairs and parts, plus 10% off a carry in repair.

That is what I call a "Thank you for choosing Sears" letter! My battery charger was 55 bucks with tax and shipping, and yes, Sears has a lot more goodies going for about 150 bucks, but I looked and it's made in China yet has the Craftsman name, no thank you. The savings they gave me in this letter with the coupons more than paid the price for my charger.

Google, eat your heart out.  ;) Try writing these people at the addy, and explain your "lack" of service, I'm sure they will make it up to you.
