Your wanting port forwarding to make this work..

Looks like the DI-704P is incapable of port range forwarding.

SQL test is with 2552, directory fix, and no other mods right?

Correct.

At the D2 login screen, it asks for email, password and username...that the Gamespy info?

Correct.

EDIT: I found something that might work...attaching picture.

Others have gotten triggering to work for them. I have not used it myself.
Your DMZ function should work for you, unless you prefer not to use it.

Thanks Bonk and Sfaret...I'm gonna get it to work or shoot it!
See everybody about 9ish CT!
Edit: A note to anyone who has this problem in the future - turning on DMZ does cure the problem!

No. If you're using a router, the only IP that the gamespy sign in controlls see is the router's IP address and you have to have two unique IP addresses to get two computers on from the same location.

I found the port forwarding section for my D-Link DI-524 router in the "Advanced->Firewall" section.

I put in the required ports to forward and was able to login into the dynaverse server with DMZ disabled.

My statically configured LAN IP for my gaming PC is 192.168.0.2
