Having had a few lil ones along the way might I suggest you find a plaque similar to the one that hangs just inside the door of my house. It's th efirst thing I point out to prospective boyfriends.

It says:

I think thumb-tack is a bit "tacky". I go more for "Staple", or "Brad", or "Clip".
