Noobie Questions

Hey all,
new member here. just saying hi and i think dynaverse is awesome.
i only found out about it last week when looking for mods for ST:OP. for a life long (15years) ST fan like me, this is a dream come true. couple of questions:

1) about how many people play in Dynaverse 2?
2) are any aussies?
3) will a 56k connection lag a lot on dynaverse?

p.s forgot to ask if you have to register with game spy or just download OP+4.0 and Enhancement pack v3.2 and just play for free? and what is GSA??

Welcome to a fellow Aussie!

Only other Aussie I know of is TracieG, one of the main movers and shakers around here.
I used to have a 56k connection used to be able to play fine with minimal lag.

a 56k aussie might lag a little, but it shouldn't be *too* bad.

i generally play with a 56 k connection,and usually don't have issues in a 2v2.----- NOTE-----USUALLY.my 56 k connection connects only at 24 K's.fortunately/unfortunately  i am on cable,which strangely enough,i'd turn in for my old dial up connection,in a heartbeat(long story)   oh,don't know if it makes a dif,but i am CANUCK  :)

A free gamesoy account is all that is required to login to the D2. GSA is Gamespy Arcade. Here's what you need to know to login to the D2: http://www.dynaverse.net/forum/index.php/topic,163359567.0.html
