awesome BSG Vipers do you know if anyone is planning to do the futuristic one from the pilot movie of the NEW BSG series ?

dont think thats the one i was meaning this viper looks more organic its more high tech looking instead of low tech like they ones they had to use

Which no one has made for the simple reason that there are no orthographic shots of it. The guy who released the orthos of the Galactica and MkII Viper amongst several other ships no longer works at the company that did the SFX for the series.

yea but surelly there are some good screenshots ive seen alot work of great artists work from screenshots alone

And who would want to even consider the new series? Frankly, the only way I'd include the new BSG in my game is to blow it up. Repeatedly.

MP i will do a scarlet version of the viper here give me a day or 2

Do the red varient of the scarlet that Norsehound posted or should I say do a scarlet red version  F_W ;). I'm gonna see about trying that prototype sketch.  :P And some of the capitol ships as well.

Good God!

THAT model is closer to Galactica than ANYTHING from the "new series!" With some touch ups, this could have been a better galactica than that rib-ed wannabe.

Problem is all the Galactica models are HUGE! I use stats from http://staff.bus.bton.ac.uk/fesg/bsg/, though they weren't designed for SFC ver BSG use...

And is there any way to trick the game so that basestars rotate like bases do, but are still selectable and move like an ordinary unit?

The reason the bases don't move is that there is no movement of the model. If you replace the base with a basestar just use ship edit to give the model movement and you should have a moving model that rotates OR I know there is a monster in the game that rotates, you could rplace that model with a Basestar and adjust stats accordingly. Since ya like that fanfic Battlestar I'll add some more pics of it for ya.

The problem is making bases playable. In OP, at least my version, you can't place bases in a skirmish map. So while I could rig the Base Star to rotate like a Base, I'm afraid it'll get stuck in the Base slot and become unselectable.
