TOS Era version of Union Pacific completed.
« on: November 06, 2005, 10:18:03 pm »
Y'know... I really don't care what anyone else says about this freighter, to me, it makes sense.  Low warp, massive transportability.  One ship carrying a lot more material than almost anything else, just doesn't get there too fast.  That's the thing that I liked about ModelsPlease's freighter, which is why I wanted to do a TOS version of it.  Used Lord Schtupp's TOS Ptolemy freighter (which gives the ship a shuttlebay) as the basis for my additions, and I think it turned out pretty well.  If noone else likes it, well, too bad.  :D

Putting it up for download at Battleclinic, and here's a shot of it just before I redid the registries and a couple of minor textures.  Enjoy, or not.  Either way, it exists and is up for download.  ;)
(edit: and here's the download link)

Don't bother checking out my website for the most recent updates, because I've
been too lazy to update it!  Check Battleclinic!

Interesting idea... ;)

As you heard God's message from afar;
All you had hoped for, all you had, you gave
To save mankind-yourself you scorned to save."

All I can say right off the bat is... Wow.

Being critical I'd say the beams look too big to be used on that size of ship. That's my only complaint, and she looks awesome.

Now, where's that TMP version!? :D

Thanks Atherohaven!
