I have most of the MW-4 series  ( I think I'm missing the last one ) ..  Hmm  that IS Mercenaries ..   right ?

Yeah...but, you can pick it up for $10 or less (US) these days.
They even have a Compilation pack, with Vengence, Black Knight and Mercs for less than $20.
And the new downlaodable Mech Paks more than double the number of mechs to choose from.  ;)

I'll see what I can do on the way home from work  ( yeah!  I'm stuck here again ..  Isn't being in mamagement fun?  LOL)

BTW...   if I can get my hands on it ..  can you zip up the DL for me ..   I'm still stuck on dial-up and as I understand it that DL is a biggie !

Hmm, I got rid of my copy during my recent move last month  :( ...that MekNet needs to get some cool Jade Falcon designs such as the Night Gyr, Turkina, Fire Falcon, and Black Lanner (the stock game already has the Cougar, from what I can recall).

MekTek has come out with many familiar designs...
WarHammer, Marauder, Black Lanner, Behemoth, ShadowHawk, Dasher... to name but a few.
The lastest Mod pak (MP 3) has 29 new mechs alone.  ;D
There's a list somewhere on the forums on their site.

MekTek is to MW what the D2 modders are to SFC.
They've taken over all the updates and new mech designs since MS has announced it won't come out with any more of the MW series.

If you like Mercs, the mekTek MechPaks are a must!  ;)
And, best of all, they're all FREE downloads...but they are rather large. (MP 3 is 257 MB)

First, make sure you have the MicroSoft patch, PR-1 from their official site:

Then to the MekTek site;

Go to the downloads area..to Mechwarrior 4 Mercenaries...then to Merc Expansion packs...then download this one:
  MekPak PR1 to MP2.1a - English   
Description: Updates from Microsoft's PR1 patch to MekTek's MP2.1a. English versions only.
Version: 1 Filesize: 1 bytes

Then go back to the main page of MekTek, there you'll see a link to download the MP 3.

I also got these Maps from the "Maps" aera:  Maps - MS Official (11)     
                                                               Maps - Mercs - MekTek ( 8 )
                                                               Maps - Mercs - Converted Veng/BK (19)

From the New BattleFields site, I just got the Full installer, which has a bunch of maps and missions lumped together.
The Co-Op missions are excellent!

And We're using the Dynavers.net teamspeak server (teamspeak.dynaverse.net, pw is sfcrulz), you'll see the MechWarrior room.
