I ran into a slight problem with the primary hull being just a tad too small ... and we are adding the last tweaks plus the twin impulse engines (simular to but not exactly like the Galaxy class).

We should have this ready for AV to do his magic ready by tonight.  Both the Alabama and the Iowa will be ready for texturing very soon.

MP ....

I  will send ya a PM on the USS Hope later on.

SB777 is almost done

and  The Mako texturing is now WIP.

Cool ...

I have the problem with the primary hull fixed ...  All that is left are the torp launchers and the phaser arays on the 2ndary hull.

The way it looks we should be done by Friday night!

AV ...   if you are reading this bud ...   your services are needed for the USS ALABAMA and the the USS IOWA both.

Gentlemen,

I'm sorry to infor you ...  but ALL projects that I've been working have been suspended.  My colleague who has been translating the Wings / 3ds files into useful MOD and also providing MAPs for me to texture has suspended all communications.

I hope this set back is only temporary.

Once back on line the following should be completed very shortly:

1.  USS Alabama ( Fed TMP BB)
2.  USS Iowa  (Fed late TMP BB)
3.  X-29 Fighter  (from the novel "THE  L.A.S.T.  PATROL")
4.  USS Mako
5.  USS Titan (updated version)
6.  Late TNG Fed base
7.  USS Bass Master refit  (final version)
8.  Klingon BB  (TMP refit)
9.  Klingon DN (TMP refit)

The USS  Hope is pending other matters that will eventually be sorted out soon ( I hope)

I'm not sure why the  Yamato has not been released for SFC-1 and 2 (OP) .. again AV will have to do that as he has the final files for the model.

As soon as we get these done ... if we can get someone to do the brk models they will be released for and with permission to use in ANY SFC game  ( some hardpointing and conversions may be required)

thanks for understanding guys.

Top priorities are:

1.  USS Hope (need t find someone to hard point)
2.  USS Alabama
3.  USS Iowa
4.  S/B 777  (laten TNG base)
5.  USS Titan
6.  USS Mako
7.  X-29 Fighter
8.  All remaining WIP models depending upon ability to complete.

I'm going to try to stick to this list as much as possible.

thanks

MP ...   AV has a copy of this mesh.  You may use this post as my approval to retain a copy of the mesh.  (Sorry ..   I am restricting the distribution of this mesh for the time being as it is still WIP).

From there we can see what changes or suggestions we might look at for the Iowa/Missouri class.

One thought  ..(and it's JUST a thought) ..  might be to use this for the IOWA ...  and make minor changes for the Missouri....  OR make a few adjustments on this one ...  and a few more to build the Missouri.  I hope that statement makes sense.  It does to me ..   but then again ..  I'm a bit off the beaten path sometimes !

Thanks Buzz, I'll look for AV on MSN. I think I'll use your 2 (Iowa TNG) (Alabama TMP), as my paramiters, and keep the MIssouri within the tec of those two eras as my extremes. I'll hopefully have a WIP ready prior to the Holidays, if not it'll be early next week.

That's  cool ..

Although I'd prefer to see the Missouri more toward the Iowa.  The Alabama should remain unique  (if that's cool with ya !)

Actually my plan is to have it look like neither one of them, but to continue the tech progression that you have already established  ;). I may also incorporate some of the Missouri design elements though I highly doubt it.

hmmm

rats ..  I was kinda hoping we would find a happy-go-between and create one that incorporated aspects of both models.

IMHO ..   the Ambassador is a good model reference.  That way we are not going too far TNG.

I have alway considered the Excelsior and Constellation the Late TMP/Early TNG era ships. I'd really like to keep away from Constitution refit year ships and not go as far as the Ambassadors, something happily in between. Like I said I'm gonna take a few days and review this, then I'll post a couple of diff wips. If any of them go anywhere, we can take it from there. If not we can start again from scratch.
