Well, the first of the outer bands approaches, due within the hour... :-\
Tropical Storm Force winds and conditions expected...
Last time a Hurricane came this close we lost power for about 36 hours... >:(
I plan to be on if it lasts, if I seem to disappear for a period, it will mean something similiar happened.
All Coalition look to the other RMs if there are issues that need resolving...
If there are no updates posted in 24 hrs by me in OPs, you'll know somethings up... ;D

Good Luck. ;D

I guess it's not a good idea to get a 2nd home vacation property in the Gulf anymore.

I was seeing ads for beachfront property in Cancun area for $29500 USD.  Of course, US State Dept. states that Mexican law forbids foreigners from owning property that is with 31KM of the coast in Mexico. So, then you have to invest in a land trust company that buys the property for you.  So, then it looks a better idea to buy property in the US (ie. Hilton Head SC, GA coastline, Naples, FL, Ft. Meyers, etc.), but then John Adams in on the radio saying that you should think about using a LLC for vacation rental property. He  cited civil actions commonly garnering $4 million USD civil judgements for "slip and fall" cases. Just what I need:  an hurricane getting tenants all civil suit happy.  Better to just stick with stocks, I guess. :-\
