I have seen those error messages appear from time to time, I think they have something to do with a poor connection at the time, and how the software handles that.

I just tried making a post then, and all seems well. When I have seen these errors occur before, they usually go away after a short time suggesting that it was just a temporary connection glitch. On the rare occassion, it can herald the immenent crash of the database though, but fortunately this seems not to be the case currently.

Thanks for the info though, and please do report these errors again when you see them.  :)

There is something up with the mail server, I'll let Frey know. Hopefully we'll have it fixed shortly. (He might be just working on that server...)

fsockopen(): unable to connect to mail.xenocorp.net:25

This means that the software could not open a socket connection.  Basically, in layman terms, the client is calling but the mail server is not picking up the ringing phone.

Thought so, I was getting dozens of critical e-mails for frigga from the monitor for 2-3 days running back then. Thanks for fixing it up for us!
