Anyone playing in the SW Battlefront 2 beta?

If so, I've been playing on as Dash.  Still have yet to locate a good server.  Anyone know how to create your own?

No one else is playing from dynaverse?  Finally got on a good server...did some starship fighting as well as capture the flag and basic base capture.

Wish I could.  Where can I get it?  Only site I saw was GameSpy and one had to be a member or some such thing, which I am not.  If you have the means, send info on the beta my way.

Sorry, you either have to have gotten it from Gamespy, OR be in with Lucasarts in order to be in the Beta.  However, there are a limited number of keys for free for those with free accounts on Gamespy, so it isn't that much of a hassle or shouldn't be.

If anyone does get a key whilst the beta is up and I'm still trying it out, it would be great to start a Taldren server or play against each other.

Or one could wait for a month when it comes out retail...

Ok, how about giving us your impressions of the beta?  Haven't played the original so I don't have any point of reference, but I'd be glad to hear what you have to say about it.  I think it is a definite buy for me.

Hmmm.

For me that would be NDA so I have to be careful of what I say...

Buggy, but then what does one expect from a beta?

However more solid than normal betas.

There are some things that have been observed overall that hopefully will be addressed.

I think it's cool and fun, however some of the same flaws that were in the original probably will be seen as flaws in this new one by some.

On the otherhand, there are some other features which will highly please those that have been wanting them.

What's been stated in the trailers and other items is very close to what actually is there I'd say...and that's about as close to saying anything that I'm probably going to get.
