Mercy is for the weak!
« on: September 30, 2005, 02:47:13 pm »
Just had a talk with Frey and we discussed our friendship, our working relationship, the kids, all that jazz and then got down to what was important. Making sure he knows I will humiliate him in combat and show no mercy whatsoever! DIE BIATCH!  Edit:  :2gun: :brickwall:

As a house rule, instead of killing your opponent, you may allow him to disengage and still claim the kill if he agrees to surrender. I fully expect Frey to grovel and squirm at my feet crying, begging, and whimpering for what he will not have: Mercy! But thats just me. All you compassionate folk can be wussies and let your prey escape. Expect no respect from me if you do, for you will be viewed as weak!

Muhahahahahaha!

it's a better option.   get the VCs and Double Disengagement.

A defeated opponent is a pacified opponent. Why kill him when you can send him home to spread the joys of peace across the universe. Pacification or death! Pacification or death!

Then again, I'm allied with Klingons...and Klingons dont't take prisioners.

Does this rule also apply if I T-Bomb say..... Hexx into submission?  Can I allow him to disengage and call it a kill?

hmm, why would you even consider letting Hexx go after T-Bombing him to death?

Why not say:

Klingons can never disengage and never suffer penalties ( no matter what the odds etc.)  If you surrender to a Klingon your account is dormant for 24 real hours ( you are busy escaping from Rurapente)

Roms can disengage anywhere anytime and have zero penalties - but if killed they must start a new account

Feds must accept a surrender ( counts a PvP kill, no disengagement penalty)

Mirak and Lyrans may never surrender to each other.

Hydrans may disengage without penalty in a Hydran hex (there is always a gas giant around and they masters at that sort of camouflage).

ISC must accept a surrender, but it does NOT count as a PvP kill.  Disengagement penalty is doubled and you must move to your Homeworld then somewhere else.  Simulates spreading the Word of Peace then coming to your senses.

Gorn may refuse surrender if they think the opponent was unworthy.  PvP points only if you accept the surrender.  Gorn may not surrender to Romulans.

If you surrender to a Kzin, you have to start a new account as your old persona is being digested.  Hydrans are not effected unless the Kzin that he surrenders to likes smores and indigestion

If you surrender to a Klingon he must trun his ship over to you as you took over his ship and left him and his crew on your self destructing vessel.

Chuut, now you know that's only if you're a fed in a Connie refit with a limited crew against a B'rel class Bird of Prey.

In terms of SFC that would be F-CA+ vs. K-G2
I was never here, you were never here, this conversation never took place, and you most certainly did not see me.
