FINALLY !!!! I know many of you have wanted this ship for a long time, so here she is 

U.S.S. Preble NCC-70046 Coontz-class destroyer



The USS Preble is a destroyer, one of the unsung dozens of escort vessels that pull duty on the periphery of Starfleet's task forces.
In time of conflict, her duty is to shield the larger vessels from danger before it reaches the center of the force.
In time of peace, she sometimes escorts expoloration vessels into unknown areas; sometimes goes along on diplomatic missions to help make an impression.
The Coontz Class destroyers are light and nimble fighters, making the most of their relatively light armament.
Phasers above and below the hull give nearly 360° spherical coverage, and a single bow-mounted torpedo tube can put paid to most large warships.
The destroyer planform has never been particularly graceful, always seeming like a cobbling-together of spare parts.
Nevertheless the Coontz-Class ships have a certain grace about them.

Ok, I can see it in your screenshot too, you missed the texture for the lateral sensor array. When I load it in max the slot shows in the material editor as hardpoint12 (or was it 14?) anyways..let me know if u fix it.

Nice work MP. I think I may have some textures that'll make it look a bit closer to the original than using the galaxy class ones. Mind you. I'm not sure aobut the deflector being where it is, but still. Theres been some very strange designs over the years.

Fixed it, just have to upload it to OutaLance as soon as Battleclinic is back up. If ya wanna retexture it Major by all means go for it if ya think you can make it look more like the phtsical model. Also with all my other models, it's for SFC II EAW/OP they ALL need converting to SFC III ( which I'm sure OutaLance will do  ) And Starforce2 can port to BC. I'm going to redo this one with a newer model as it's been pointed out this one is showing it's age. But until I do this one will do just fine

Scotchys Galaxy looks a lot better then P81's, and I think is better suited for your kitbash Looks cool nonetheless, i just dont really care for P81 parts.

Technically, they're Moonraker's Galaxy-class parts.  And Scotchy's Galaxy-class had been converted to SFC3 at one time before, but I doubt it's well-known.

Anyhow, the kitbashing is pretty fairly done MP.  I like it.

Thanks Chris, my bashing skills are only about a week old so I know I'll improve. So far I feel I'm just testing the waters so to speak to see what I'm capable of doing. Now thay I know I can come pretty close to the physical model, I'll use a newer ship to redo this bash. Since the concensus is the Scotchy Galaxy, I'll see what the mesh looks like and give it a try. I'll post it as soon as I get it finished. Plus I have recieved several more permissions from BC modellers so expect a plethora of ports coming from me over this coming week  . Because you can NEVER have too many ships in game
