OT : A DS9 question
« on: October 10, 2005, 11:42:18 am »
Hi folks, I'm hoping someone can help me out here.

I was watching DS9 the other day on SPIKE TV and unfortunately I missed the Title screen so I don't know the name of the episode. Anyway....here's the storyline :

Worf and Dax agree to go on a mission with General Martog to try to rescue a Klingon warship. Long story short, the crew is disgruntled and contemplates mutiny, Worf challanges Martog for command of the BoP.....anyway here is my question...... In one scene they get a look at the stricken Klingon battlecruiser on the viewer, it looks like a D7 BUT the hull is extended where the rear torp and impulse engines are. Is this a TNG refit ? A DS9 standard bash whatever ? and can someone post a screen capture or any info on this "NEW" D7 TNG upgrade. I've never seen it modeled.

Looks like the standard 'ol K'tinga to me:

Most likely the Greg Jein replica since the hull panels are more...plastic-looking than the original TMP version. And that ep with Martok and the good ship Rotarran was "Soldiers of the Empire".
